Hi Jonathan,
looks like an interesting design on it, any idea what type of metal?
it has an alumin or pewter look about it by the colour of the white corrosion
any sign of a button fixing on reverse?

Hi Rob,

I don't have a clue waht typ eof metal it is, some of the squares have been demolished possibly by the plough Sad My dad thinks it could be off soem sort of machinery or a pedal or something liek that Sad

No button fixing on the back just the same pattern with holes punched in the squares and some triangles in some of the squares aswell.

Im going in the same field again in a bit Smile If your not doing anything you could come and detect in teh field today if you want Smile

regards,

Jonathan Smile

Be Good if you can get more magnification in the piccy of the item
have you tried putting it near a magnet to see if its steel?
as usually farm stuff is magnetic.
